I wish Microsoft would just die. Baller has an arrogant aurora to his speech and his stage presence.

I do not know Ballmer personally but his public persona stinks and his arrogant attitude towards end users appalling. He thinks he knows everything and that we only need to be educated about how wrong we are. Technology was supposed to become cheaper , faster and easier for end users. Instead Microsoft has achieved none of that and built an empire that is slothful , ignorant , arrogant , unhelpful , no longer a leader and extremely dismissive of its client base. How could any serious business not provide an easy upgrade path to its largest XP User Base. That alone shows they have NO IDEA of the time , effort and practical problems people have migrating from one OS to the next - they are solely confined to revenue raising - who cares about what end users think (other than those thye can control ) - I will give Microsoft this - they can market garbage but I think now the honeymoon days of IT are well and truly over so they will have to compete and the product has to be red hot and cheap.

Windows 7 is neither.

Most companies would be looking for a new CEO after a blunder like Vista. If Ballmer did not have so much equity in the company he probably would be gone by now. And he may yet. I forsee a new CEO within 2-3 years.

I'm not sure that I would call the Fake Steve Jobs an "article". Satire? Yes. Hitting a little close to home? Yes. Article? No.
