During my roaming around the Internet this morning I stumbled upon a free version of Nero 9. This version is limited to burning data and copying disk functions. The interface is easy to use and it works with Windows 7 which I installed Nero free on my test box.Both 32 and 64 bit versions are supported.

Hello Dan,
Rip and burn, making backups, entertainment feature, create and edit, anything to do with audio, video, avi files and more.
This is a real generic version.
I use ImgBurn which does the same thing on my Vista box and is also a freebie.
