Auslogics BoostSpeed 4 – Let Me Know What You Think

Posted by on Aug 8, 2009 | 7 Comments

I have tried many products that make all kinds of promises about increasing computer speed. They use the fact that all computers slow down after time and that the system needs to be tuned by their fine product. Most of us have tried these products but the results have been anything but stellar. Yes, there are products that are free and will do the same thing as most of the commercial products. But these standalone products require some computer knowledge on their use.

Several days ago I tried a product from Auslogic called BoostSpeed 4. It is a simple to use product with a multitude of features that are fairly impressive. But I will stop there.

What I would like is for those who read this to give this software a try. There is a full feature 15 day trial available at the link below.

The following minimal configuration is recommended to run this product.

  • 7/Vista/2008/XP/2003 (32-bit and 64-bit supported)
  • 32 Mb of RAM
  • 25 Mb of available disk space

Comments welcome.

Ron, I’ve tried numerous similar applications in the past, only to wind up somewhere between disappointed and nonplussed. For this reason I abandoned these trials long ago. However, I’m gonna take this jalopy for a test drive, for two reasons. First and foremost, I trust you. Your sage advise is nearly always spot on. Second, the phenomenon of advancement, at an increasingly accelerated rate, in ALL fields. I never wanna become one of them cats, unyielding in their ways, resisitant to change, who scoff at new ideas. Initiating download. Red Alert. Battle Stations. Stand by main phaser banks. Intruder alert. Who knows? The bloody thing might even work. I’ll be report back to Starfleet Command over this subspace frequency.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO….Kaaaay. I was afraid my report would be, shall we say, less than stellar. QUITE THE CONTRARY! Simply put, that’s the most complete, well organized, and USEFUL utility, I believe I’ve ever seen! I could name off several sorely lacking clones, but I’m not here to disparage them. I here to laud Auslogic’s (and yours) praises. Once again Ron – “You da man!” Keep up he good work.
