It’s kinda cool since I use a netbook, but it doesn’t remove the subject, instead it removes the label markers. My label markers are tiny so I don’t use that setting personally, but I can see how it would be greatly appreciated.

Of course google is thinking a lot about Netbooks, they reflect a turning point in computer usage; true portability reflected in both size and power efficiency. Most laptops are glorified desktops, dependent on an external power-source for use over an 1.5 hours( with the exception from Apple – high density lithium ion batteries).

I dont think they are removing “subject lines”, those are filter labels.
