This morning I went roaming around both the Technet and MSDN sites for a look-see when Windows 7 RTM would be available for subscribers. I thought I would pass on what the official word is. It seems that downloads will be made available on or about August 6, 2009. According to the official word it states that:
There are a few ways you can get Windows 7 RTM. IT Professionals with TechNet Subscriptions will be able to download Windows 7 RTM in English on August 6th and remaining languages by October 1st.
The same will hold true for MSDN subscribers as well. So just a few more weeks before Windows 7 will be made available for those who subscribe.
The public release and release on new computers should be made available around October 22, 2009.
Comments welcome.

I’m ready, although my laptop is now freezing on me. No events in the log, and it’s only since I’ve been using the beta of MS’s Security Essentials (or whatever it’s called.) I may take that off and see if that doesn’t help. Technically, it should be hardware that’s causing the issue, but I’ve seen software manage it as well.

Hi, I think you’ve missed a spot between the meta tags where you can shove in a FEW MORE ADS.
