Using Internet Explorer 8 Prevents Puking

Do you suffer from OMGIGP ? Well you won’t if you use Internet Explorer 8. According to a advertisement, which Microsoft has pulled, using another browser could make you puke. You have to see the ad.

    Every time I get an update from IE8 I wanna puke. It’s screws up my computer so bad I have to uninstall it…..

    The worst part about IE is that even if you ignore it, it’s still there and Windows will grab updates for it that make you restart the computer.

    So it can be said that IE decreases the reliability (uptime) of your computer even if you bury it and use something else.

    As for the vomiting over some truly bizarre east European porn, I wonder if they have actually noticed that it’s always Internet Explorer that gets hijacked and litters porn toolbars, porn shortcuts, porn “favorites” and malware that causes porn popups all over the users PC.

    My mom works at a catholic retirement home and had some malware that had installed itself through Internet Explorer pop up pictures of naked men in front of some prospective client’s family.

    After I cleaned up the mess, I hid Internet Explorer and used the security policy editor to forbid it from ever being loaded again.

    With all the negative press IE8 has received from those in the know, and there’s a LOT, only an ultramaroon would even consider downloading this rubbish. Dean Cain might endorse such crap, but Superman is sticking with 7. Oop, ahem, I mean (me) Clark Kent. Thanks for the laugh Ron.
