Netflix $1,000,000 Prize For Improved Recommended Page

In an effort to improve what Netflix recommends to their clients for their next movie rental, Netflix is offering a $1,000,000 prize. The movie rental giant is in the process of assessing current leaders and the improvements they are attempting to make.
The leader board which changes frequently is located on the Netflix site. However, you must be a member to view the prize results page.
The goal seems to be to increase the recommendations page by at least 10%. I rarely look at the recommendations and usually just order the movies I believe are good and which are rated near 4 star or above.
