This is what the folks over at Mozilla say about their new browser:
Please note: Firefox 3.5 Beta 4 is a public preview release intended for developer testing and community feedback. It includes many new features as well as improvements to performance, web compatibility, and speed. We recommend that you read the release notes and known issues before installing this beta.
Get it people. Take it for a ride. I think you will enjoy what you see.

The next Firefox release I’ll try out will be version 4.
So far Opera 10 has leapfrogged them on features, performance, and web standards support, not to forget resource usage.
Firefox 3.0.x will gladly take hundreds of megs of RAM doing a few tabs (seen it go up to 500 before), it leaks and leaks, then leaks some more til the user closes it and reopens it. Frankly not even Internet Explorer 8 has managed to be that bad with system resources (though it is not compatible with recent web standards and is far slower at rendering pages).
Chrome and Safari 4 are the speed demons but they’re far too anemic with regards to things like adblock.
Which brings me to….I loaded one of your pages that came up when I was trying to find an ad blocker for Chrome, and this blog is so chock full of ads (including 3 banners advertising Internet Explorer alone) that you may want to tell Pirillo that he missed a spot.
