Just a few weeks ago there were several blog postings stating that Google’s Android operating system was not ready for prime time computing. Well not everyone believed that as being the gospel. I have always felt that Google’s stab into the world of the operating system game would one day become a reality. Now it seems that a company called Skytone may be introducing a mini computer using the Google OS. 

On their web site they are advertising the Alpha 680 which appears to be a netbook. But the specifications state that the operating system is Google’s own Android. The midget laptop is light on hardware which means it will need a light weight OS.

If this is the first Google powered netbook I am sure that Microsoft will have a few criticisms. Will we be seeing a PC vs Android commercial? LOL
