Microsoft Windows 7 TechNet Posting - Mistake Or Planned? You Decide

Oh Microsoft. How you need to pull off a winner. With the anchor known as Vista hanging around your neck, you need to pull something out of your bag of tricks. But are you people really fooling us by dropping little tidbits of rumors and false announcements around the Internet? I think not.
Since the first of the year we have seen Windows 7 beta mysteriously appear on torrents. Next came the rumor that RC would be released in April. Than the RC was released by undercover secret agents in Redmond. Now on TechNet a mystery page appears from no where, indicating a May 2009 release. Come on people! Are we to believe that the folks who setup the web pages at TechNet are retarded? That they accidentally posted pages in March that will appear in May?
I personally don’t believe any of this. Microsoft is orchestrating media hype.
What do you think?
Comments welcome.

I’ve guess you’ve never seen all the Apple rumor sites all over the web that sell advertisements, and who “rumors” always seem to be true. Hmmmmm, I wonder who sets these sites up, and I wonder where THEY get all their info. Could it be Apple…you know…the secret agents coming out of Cupertino.
Do you think you’re discovering or uncovering anything new here? It’s marketing 101. All you ever do is bash Microsoft over the most mundane, trivial and childish things. That’s it..it’s ALL you ever write. Perhaps YOU are one of the Apple fanboy secret agents. Do YOU think we are that dumb? Give it a rest, if you don’t like Microsoft Windows don’t use it, and stop with your immaturity…it’s sickening.

…i’m sure you won’t post the above because you moderate the comments. Are you afraid of having a duck be called a duck? LOL.

It’s all Microsoft media hype. It really does not matter when Win 7 is released. Microsoft will still have that anchor hanging around its neck in the form of Win 7. Vista and Win 7 are one in the same…. just a name change to trick unknowing users.
April 23, 2009 is a release date that you can count on….. The final release of Ubuntu 9.04. No hype here, just a rock solid OS. The best things in life are sometimes free.

Bobzilla,
I just tried the beta of Kubuntu 9.04. Nice, very nice.

I’ve tried Win7 and it is OK with me. It has some problems, but I would never expect a beta version to be bug-free. Question is, will they sort things out when they eventually release the final product? History (Windows history) shows they’re not really capable of doing that. But we should remain confident that some god will see to it that what we get is good enough to keep us away from computer specialists.
Otherwise, we could always switch to Linux. True. Free and promising, this OS might be extremely rewarding.
P.S. Microsoft, just like Apple, will use whatever trick to raise interest in their products. They can’t seem to play the game like everybody else; they’re greedy.

Microsoft windows releases have such a poor track record that our company is still on windows 2000 for most of its IT kit, and that’s a big multi-national (clue: name known for motor cars and jet engines). Some XP kit in use, but hopefully we will avoid Vista altogether and go straight to Windows 7…

Ever since my post above (March 28, 2009), I have tried to run different versions of Linux on my machine. Ubuntu, Fedora, and Knoppix, they all failed to start. One error after another.
I’ve never been so annoyed in my whole computer-related life. I’ve tried four different generations of Windows so far; unstable and buggy as it is, Windows has never been a problem to install. Never.
The hell is going on?
Is this some kind of conspiracy?
I know this is paranoia; but it is caused by Linux, which everybody says works like a charm - and it doesn’t.

Marketing, yes, that is what it is. Are we so quick to forget the worldwide scavenger hunt MS did? And about Windows 7 being a repackaged version of Vista, well, wrong. Sure, it looks like Vista, that’s because it uses the same graphics engine. It even behaves similar to Vista, but the nuts and bolts are very different. For instance, the nagging security in Vista goes away in 7 and only programs that actually need to make changes to the system or run as an administrator really need that extra OK. I would say that Windows 7 is to Windows Vista as Windows XP is to Windows 2000, enough different to be a major package. Program compatibility is WONDERFUL, unlike Vista, and they decided to push Aero a little bit more. Memory management is way different than Vista. Let’s just say that Win7 has no problem using all 4GB of my RAM while idling, albeit can release memory upon need. Networking is more intelligent and seeing the benefits of Win7 in a business environment is yet to be seen (by me anyhow). Even the beta is running my machine better than XP did and way better than Vista ever did. I needed to reinstall a few programs and games (I did an upgrade from XP to Vista then to Win7) and had a small headache when the upgrade was complete (first time login updates and system updates conflicted with each other making first time login for an existing user very difficult)
Look, Vista is WindowsME, a mistake. Win7 is what should have been released a couple of years ago, but the real mistake MS did make was to code XP and Server 2003 so well. They are solid OS’s that still to this day have more functionality and control than Vista and Server 2008 and argueably the best overall OS’s out there.
If you want conspiracies, just surf the dark internet, you’ll get all the conspiracies you want. Be careful though, the dark internet isn’t for the faint of heart :-p
BRING BACK DOS, DOS NEVER, EVER CRASHED, ONLY THE PROGRAMS THAT RAN ON IT

ADD:
There was a mention to MS not playing by the same rules as everyone else?
“P.S. Microsoft, just like Apple, will use whatever trick to raise interest in their products. They can’t seem to play the game like everybody else; they’re greedy.”
What game and rules are you referring? Every single programmer tries to raise interest in their product, and it is all tricks, that’s the game!!! You don’t think IBM pushes Linux when it can? I bet you even know how Linux got its’ name, but how could that be if there were no shameless plugs, or advertising? Funny thing is, MS uses all classic means in its’ advertising strategies.
Hell, we’re talking about it aren’t we, both Linux and MS, but MS paid for us to talk about it through their advertising and employing thousands of people, where Linux did not.

Hello all
If Jews Are Gods Chosen People
If Jews are God’s Chosen, why do they blatantly violate God’s laws of usury and avarice? Why do they hoard the world’s wealth?
More than 100 US Jews own $1 billion to ve $14 billion, plus 23 more who own multi- millions, almost a billion. Jews control 83% of the wealth in America, including the Federal Reserve Bank, Inc.
If Jews are God’s Chosen, why do they spit on all churches and crosses they see?
If Jews are God’s Chosen, why do they hate Christ and Christians with such a passion?
If Jews are God’s Chosen, who claim the Torah (laws of Moses), why do they hate the Ten Commandments and oppose their public display?
If Jews are God’s Chosen, why do they oppose all public display of Nativity scenes at Christmas and Crosses?
If Jews are God’s Chosen, why do the have God and prayer banned from all schools and colleges?
If Jew’s are God’s Chosen, who claim to have authored the Old Testament, why do they adhere to the Talmud, the most vile, viscious, and evil writings ever written? Such as the blasphemy of Jesus and the Virgin Mary?
If Jew’s are God’s Chosen, why do they have such greed for power to rule the world via the New World Order?
If Jews are Chosen, they are self-cosen who use their vast wealth to bribe and buy up political power to the point that they now control U.S. Government policies, both foreign an domestic.
Isn’t it high time that God’s true choen servant people, Caucasian Israelite Christians, decendants of the Kingdom of Israel, to wake up to their Divine calling and responsibility?
“If my people, (Caucasian Israelites), which are called by my name (Christian), shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways (supporting Pharisee Jews), then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sins (ignorance and apathy), and will heal their land” (II Chronicles 7:14).
-Rev. Ed Butler
This must end. We must, for the sake of America?s future and America?s survival, pass legislation that brands Zionism permanently as a criminal, a terrorist and a treasonous ideology, and one which desires world domination and control over all other peoples. The fact that the American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee essentially writes our MidEast policy only guarantees that America will be drawn into endless war, endless bloodshed and endless death and decimation of other nations for the sake of world criminal Zionism and for the benefit of NO ONE ELSE. The Jewish supremacists have been allowed to lord it over the rest of humanity for long enough! I?ve had enough and the world has certainly had its fill of the warmongering agenda of radical Zionist Jews! These Jews now control most of our federal government and their grip has to be dislodged and smashed!
