Have You Calibrated Your HDTV?

Posted by on Mar 6, 2009 | 3 Comments

A few months ago I mentioned that Best Buy offered a service to calibrate HDTV which at the time cost about $300. There were many differences of opinions as to whether the calibration service was worth it or not. So I took a look at a do-it-yourself calibration DVD from Avia, which is offered on Amazon. But after reading the poor reviews of the Avia DVD, I decided to ask you people again for your thoughts.

Has anyone tried the DVD from AvIa? Is there another DVD that works better?

Real crews have tools to go in the repair port on the TV and fix the picture. If you use use the DVD to change colors its not the greatest.
