Microsoft Flight Simulator Crashes

The folks up in Redmond have killed the studio that once produced Flight Simulator for Microsoft. In a hush, hush shutdown of ACES game studio, Microsoft has given the employees of the studio pink slips. In a news article about the closing, it states that:

Redmond, Washington-based ACES Studio, the Microsoft-owned internal group behind the venerable Microsoft Flight Simulator series, has been heavily affected by Microsoft’s ongoing job cuts.

Development sources have told Gamasutra that a large portion of the dev house’s staff has been let go – with multiple reports indicating that the entire Flight Simulator team has been axed.

Rumors have been appearing around the Internet suggesting that Microsoft is cutting back. It was also a surprise when Microsoft sold off their interests in Comcast. It would appear that even the mighty Windows supplier is seeing the outcome of the economic down turn.

I don’t care for the smartlists at all. I like the idea of lists ( or circles ) I do not however like the idea of Facebook making these lists for me automatically. When smartlists went live I spent some time going into all those Auto Populated lists and removing all my friend from them. I’ll decide which friend if any will go on any given list thank you very much. I also do not like the little notification bubbles on each list, telling how many posts were made in that given list, I find it to distracting.

Give it up. Privacy is a thing of the past now. I hope you know right at this moment, your ISP knows EVERYTHING you’ve done as well as other sources such as Google. You can’t hide from everybody. You just can’t.
