Microsoft Lowers Price On Xbox 360 Arcade

Microsoft is announcing that they are cutting the price on their popular Xbox 360 Arcade model to just $199, only in the U.S. The price drop will bring the cost of the Xbox about $50 below the cost of the Nintendo Wii. But will this be enough to increase sales for the Xbox
Maybe. But there is one thing that the Xbox can not match compared to a Wii. The Wii is just plan fun to play with. Case in point. A few weekends ago my in-laws had a combo birthday party for a few relatives. I brought our Wii to the party and everyone had a ball playing the Sports game. I also brought a racing game along which was also a huge hit.
That is the bottom line. Though some people might opt for the lower pricing that the Xbox may offer, the Wii is just more fun to play for families.

WOW. Now I can put media extenders on all my TVs. The Xbox 360 is a great media extender.
