File extensions. Just the name itself stricks fear into the hearts of any computer user who has experienced a file extension problem on their system. But should file extensions be a mystery to Window users? Nope. On the Uniblue site they have listed in alphabetic order the file extensions along with the description of what software program may use the extension.
On the Uniblue site they describe the file extensions data base as:
Welcome to the Uniblue file extension library.
This library is a detailed database of file extensions.
We have now made the entire database available for free for online users.
So when you receive a request for assistance for a problematic file extension question, refer them over to the Uniblue site.
Comments welcome.
