Dell Sales Will Be Outside Of US In 5 Years

Posted by on May 30, 2008 | 2 Comments

When I first read this article in which Dell predicts that two-thirds of sales will be outside of the US, it made me think of the cable commercial which has aired on tv recently. In the commercial it shows some executives sitting around a table discussing their client base. One exec pipes up and says something that they need new customers, because the ones they have complain to much. :-)

Though I know that Dell doesn’t see the American consumer as the enemy, lets face it, Dell corp. hasn’t been making to many friends here at home lately. Between the lay offs of American and Canadian workers, the transfering of most tech. support to India, the recent complaints in New York involving bait and switch, it might be time for Dell to pull up stakes.

Or have they pulled up stakes already?  What do you think?

Comments welcome.

Typo: “unfollowing and unfollowing” should probably say “following and unfollowing”. Great article though :)
