Just a quick note:
Thanks to Jesper Johansson, MVP for this fix for the AMD reboot problem after installing SP3 for Microsoft’s Windows XP
The free-of-charge VBScript file is available for download.
Comments welcome
PS I ran this on my wife’s AMD powered Gateway laptop and the Intel driver was not present.

The web site for the VBS file mentioned above is not working.
I uploaded sp3 and my dell laptop is frozen. I cannot get anything. I booted in safe, and all I get is the black screen with “safe mode” in the four corners, and the windows info at the top. any idea where I can get a fix for this? How would I fix it,,,I can’t maneuver to anywhere on the computer?

The VBS script has been pulled. Try this link. It must be installed before installing SP3.
