Back on the 4th of April I briefly wrote about trying Spyware Doctor 5.5 freebie and received no response for comments. So my assumption this is a wonderful program and everyone in the world is delirious with the protection it provides. So in my travels I also found that Spyware Doctor 5.5 comes in two flavors. The standard anti-spware edition and the second with anti-spyware and anti-virus protections.

Over at vnunet.com they claim to be the worlds only site offering the full version[s] for free. Not just a limited time offer, but full lifetime completely free for anyone. On the site it states:

PC Tools Spyware Doctor 5.5 Starter Edition isn’t going to die after three months, and then remind you it needs a new subscription to start working again. It’s entirely free, updates too, and so you can go on using it for just as long as you need, along with free definition updates.

Note that PC Tools Spyware Doctor 5.5 Starter Edition is exclusively licensed from PC Tools for download from vnunet.com. It is not freeware.

So it’s back to the drawing boards and I’ll be testing both versions to see how well they work. Hopefully others who read this will try either of these versions and also provide their input as well.
