On Wednesday the doom and gloomers were ready to bury Google. They cited all kinds of unsubstantiated figures, charts, graphs and other nonsense to propel us into thinking Google was on the decline. Those doubters of the double-clickers cited reports of non clickers, advertisers who were fleeing the click crowd and additional crapola to bolster their claims the search giant was going down the drain.

Than on Thursday a miracle happened. Google posted huge profits beating even those on Wall Street and their predictions. In fact Google did so good on the profit side, champagne immediately started to flow on the street of Mountain View, California. Google stock holders pulled to the side of the road to lap up the bubbly.

Did anyone really think it was doom time at Google?
