Yesterday I received a beta invitation to test the iCloud operating system from Xcerion. The new testing software labeled as a Developers Beta, needs Internet Explorer to in order to function. In the note I received it mentioned that a version for Firefox was forth coming. So I signed up and got IE cranked up to the Xcerion site where iCloud runs.
The basics of iCloud are very similar to the look of Vista. There are gadgets on the right side, a bottom toolbar and applications on the desktop. What is surprising is that the applications work quickly even when having to be accessed through a browser. Using a broadband connect would appear to be a must when using iCloud or any Cloud type software.
My first impressions. I like the software and it is easy to use. I’ll be experimenting with iCloud for the next everal weeks and will do a complete review then.
