Crossover Linux Pro - Anyone Use This?

I just got this from Linspire [aka Frespire] advertised for their CNR [click-n-run] service. They are advertising Crossover Linux Pro for just $69.95. They describe this software as:

CrossOver Linux Professional allows you to install many popular Windows productivity applications, plugins and games in Linux, without needing a Microsoft Operating System license. CrossOver includes an easy to use, single click interface, which makes installing a Windows application simple and fast. Once installed, your application integrate seamlessly with your Gnome or KDE environment. Just click and run your application, exactly as you would in Windows, but with the full freedom of Linux.

I also went out online I saw the same software being advertised over at Academic Software for $44.95. Either amount sounds reasonable if in fact the software performs as stated.

So here is my question. Has anyone tried this and does it work?

More info is here.

Comments welcome.

Crossover came with my Xandros 3.0 desktop package. I have installed MS Office 2000 and Quicken using Crossover - works like a charm, no difference from running in Windows from what I can tell. Be aware that Crossover sometimes does not support the latest, greatest WIndows software, nor does it support all Windows software. I could not get it to accept Word 2003, but it was quite content when I loaded 2000.

Thank you Bruce. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and in sharing your experience with us.
Regards, Ron
