Uniblue Registry Cleaner, Spyware Protection & PC Speed Booster Too Good To Pass Up

I received [Lockergnome] Pirillo’s Picks newsletter dated 2-15-08 and what do I see listed at the top? A super deal on all three of Uniblue’s products, each at only $14.95 apiece. What I found interesting is that this special pricing is the cheapest I have seen on these fine products and I wanted to pass this along to all of you immediately.

I have been using all three of these products and have previously made reports on SpeedUpMyPC3 here and also for RegistryBooster3 here. As I have mentioned in the past, I have never been a big fan of one product doing it all. But I did mention I was going to give my system totally over to Uniblue to see what happens here? I was planning on a 30-day test, which I am still going to complete, but I did want to mention these great sale prices.

So far during my testing all of the Uniblue products have performed flawlessly. No problems whatsoever. I have also tested my system using other software and so far Uniblue has kept me totally protected and also my system running at peak performance. As I have stated, I am going to do a 30-day review later on.

Comments welcome.

Been using both programs for awhile now Ron, and can’t say enough about them. I was running the free version of AVG 7.5, and then went so far as to install the AVG 8.0. Unfortunately, the ver. 8 was not to my liking, as it forced an install of a YAHOO! tool bar on my browser, along with it’s website screening that constantly nagged me! Ah, shades of Norton when Symantec took that company over! I eventually uninstalled AVG and things speeded up considerably. Just too many “checks & balances” running in the background.

FYI Ron: I upgraded my RAM from 1 Gig to 2 Gig about a month ago, and it made all the difference on this Gateway running Vista Home Premium. Got the 2 cards from an outfit called CRUCIAL (www.crucial.com) and each card was 28 bucks! Reason for doing it this way was the mother board only had two slots for the RAM cards. I didn’t realize this, as I’d never pulled off the side panel, but CRUCIAL’s site can do a quick diagnostic check once the make/model is supplied and give you exactly what you need for information! A rather nice touch!

Hi Don,
Thanks for the info. I have mentioned the Crucial diagnostics before. Unfortunately some people have had problems with the tool. I , like yourself, think it works great.

AVG 8 still needs to be tweaked some. I did an article which confirms that 7,5 will be supported until 12-31-08. :-)

FWIW - I just turned the Yahoo bar off after install.
