Airline Cheap Seats

With the credit crunch and signs of a recession looming, most of us are looking for ways to cut down on expenses. What is always interesting about the price of airline tickets is that changing say a date or even the time of day can save you some big bucks. One of the problems I have found is that I was going from site to site, i.e. Orbiz, Cheap Tickets etc., looking for the cheapest flight.
A friend of mine recommended giving Airfare Watchdog a try to see what I thought. As luck would have it, our niece is coming for a visit sometime in March and was complaining that flights were about $600 round trip. So I went to Airfare Watchdog and found several different flights for under $200 round trip. Why so much cheaper?
You have to be very flexible in your travel dates. If you want specific dates for specific times this may not be your cup of tea. Next these fares usually require several stops or more to get you where you want to go. The $600 fare was a one stopper whereas the $200 fare required 2 stops. This added about 6 hours more to the travel time required.
Basically what Airfare Watchdog does is scan cheap flights from the el cheapo travel services to come up with some of the bargain fares. Links are provided to the cheap spots for you to book your flights. Airfare Watchdog also provides a email service to notify you of upcoming cheap flights.
So if you are on a budget, are flexible and don’t mine a slower trip, give Airfare Watchdog a try at the link below.
Do you know of others sites that offer similar cheap flights? Let us know.
