Internet Income Training – Free Meal & MP3 Player – WOW!

Posted by on Nov 17, 2007 | 2 Comments

I’m sure I am not the first one to receive such an invite, but there it was in my mailbox. A ticket for me and a guest to join Internet Income Training [a $120.00 value] for FREE! This private event was being held at a local hotel where I live and includes either a free lunch or dinner, plus you get a free MP3 player. How could one resist. There were even logo’s for companies like eBay, Google, MAN and Yahoo stamped on the ticket. So they must be a legit outfit.

But what was strange to me was that there was no Internet web site. Also there was no company name to indicate who was giving this freebie away. So out to Google I went. Seems that I and millions of other folks are being presented with this offer, which is actually a scam. There is a company up in Seattle, WA known as Stores Online and also iMerchant that actually sponsors these seminars. Over at Ripoffreport.com they have 300+ complaints about the company and its shenanigans.

This is just a heads up if you receive one of the free offers. Be careful out there.
Comments welcome.

  • Father of minor

They don’t even realize they are mailing out to MINORS! My son got one in the mail today with his name on it. He is not even 18. Someone should call the police on these meetings and arrest the people involved in these types of scams for letting minors in.
Since they don’t even know who they are sending it to…ITS A SCAM!

Thanks so much for the info on this training event scam!
You provided all that I needed to confim my suspicions. Very helpful!
