Outlook Express Problem Solved

One of the most popular email programs being used by a majority of people continues to be Outlook Express. The popularity is usually based on the fact that OE comes with Windows, so people just go ahead and use what is installed on their systems. Needless to say that Outlook Express can become a headache when the email flow stops to function correctly and the entire process stops to function correctly.
So last week when my good buddy Denny posted a problem he was having with a clients system, the first thing that I recommended was that it most likely was some type of file corruption with the .dbx files. These are the files that Outlook Express uses to store information for your inbox, sent box and so forth. I emailed Denny a link to the Microsoft site which fully explains how to correct the problem.
One of the things I mentioned was that sometimes the most difficult things to do is to find what is called the ‘Store Folder’, which is located differently on each users system. If you follow the procedure explained in the article and copy and past the location in notepad, than print it out, I have found that this has worked best for me.
Denny got back to me later and stated that he had fixed the problem which also included the client having completely filled up the deleted message folder as well, which is quite common to see when diagnosing Outlook Express problems. If you are having problems with Outlook Express, try the link below. Make sure you follow the steps exactly and hopefully you will have your system back in working order.
