Dell Does Google and Google Does Ebay

Just some quick notes on the Google and Ebay fiasco. Seems that the two have kissed and made up and Ebay is once again sporting Google Ads. As I have previously mentioned, these two make good partners and it would be ashame to see them part permanently. With Microsoft and Yahoo sitting on the side lines this is not the time for either Google or Ebay to take their eyes off of the game.
Google who previously had built their own computer systems, now has a deal with Dell to build their boxes. What is surprising is that Dell hasn’t played this up more, or did I just miss the ads? I did find a link showing one ad, but what I mean, is TV ads touting the deal. If I were Dell I would be one happy camper having Google as a client.

Google states:

Recently, we started working with Dell to manufacture the Google Search Appliance. This partnership enables us to focus more on the software side – which is our real value add. Additionally, Dell’s international reach is helping us make the Google Search Appliance available faster in markets around the globe.

Here’s a combo. Dell should sell their Linux Ubuntu boxes on Ebay using Firefox along with the Google search engine.:-)
