It always amazes me how many people still do not have a clue about how to send email. Most email software comes with a TO:, CC, and BCC for a purpose people. Use it! Also the ” >>>>>>” and chopped up sentences are annoying. And if you wish to include my email addy in a message that is forwarded 642 times to people that I don’t not even know, let me assure you that when Big Bubba is released from prison and shows up at my door, I will personally be bringing him to your home for a visit at 3:00am in the morning! RANT OFF!
So yesterday when I received not one, but three emails telling me that the new $1 U.S. Presidential Coins do not have “In God We Trust” engraved on them, I did some checking to find out if this was true or not. But first I had to read that this was some type of a conspiracy, a terrorist plot, or a governmental oversight. Maybe all combined together.
Long story, short. The new coins have “In God We Trust” engraved on the side of the coins and not the front side as before. You can view the new design at the U.S. Mint’s site located here.
IMHO This is a very unique coin design and well worth a look. Though the purpose of a $1 coin still eludes me, they should make nice collectibles. My understanding is that the Mint still has over 500 million Susan B. Anthony coins in its vaults. The public likes its ‘greenbacks.’
So the email circulating is a HOAX!
