Over at Neil Hands blog at Direct 2 Dell, the VP of Worlwide Consumer Marketing is telling folks that there is going to be a upgrade path /exchange program for those who purchased XPS 700 Dell systems. Along with a apology for what seems like some disappointed XPS 700 users, there are different paths available for consumers who own these systems to take.

Also noted on the site is the following:

“To show our gratitude for your patience, we will offer all XPS 700 customers worldwide a choice of upgrade paths to Dell’s next-generation of XPS gaming motherboards”

This is good news for XPS 700 owners who haved expressed disappointment on systems they purchased that seemed to limit the upgrade process. And it is good news also, since maybe Dell is getting serious about consumer satisfaction.

Hopefully there will be more consumer friendly trends coming from Dell in the future.
