Cuba it seems, is going to embrace open source, since they no longer want to use products from the imperialistic software company known as Microsoft. The Cubans have over 3,000 people using computers in their country, up from the 150 previously reported.

WOW! Maybe what should of been reported was the following:

Get over it Cuba. Communism was a failure. The Berlin wall has been taken down, Russia divided, and China now wants more technology from the West.

Your 386 computers won’t run the latest and greatest software products. And good luck getting Linux to run using 4 MB of RAM.

Here is the web site for One Laptop Per Child. At least allow your children into the 21st century. And these laptops are hand cranked for power, so you won’t be burdening your electrical grid. And they will meet your needs since they use open source software. However, before obtaining these children’s laptops you must promise to give them to the kids and not use them to run your decaying government.
