Back in 1996 I started reading Chris’s newsletters and there wasn’t one issue that I didn’t say to myself ‘I didn’t know that.’
And I have watched over the years as Chris has expanded his empire and has become a celebrity in the technology industry. But I think Chris does the best job of describing himself as “Geek, Internet Entrepreneur, Hardware Addict, Software Junkie, Book Author, Once TV Show Host, Technology Enthusiast, Shameless Self-Promoter, Tech Conference Coordinator, Early Adopter, Idea Evangelist, Tech Support Blogger, Bootstrapper, Media Personality, Technology Consultant, Thicker Quicker Picker Upper.”
So it gives me great pleasure to announce that Chris has once again started a daily text email which he calls ‘Prillio’s Picks” and which he has started distributing this week. Chris is compiling an assostment of links to articles which will offer something for everyone plus it’s Free for the asking.

Years ago I signed up for a few of Chris’ newsletters and found I didn’t enjoy them. This was due to formating problems, which occurred in OE and Thunderbird both under Windows, and prevented my reading several portions of the newsletters. This still occurred after a clean install on a newly formatted HD. With emails to Chris about the problems, I decided my best bet was to remove myself from his newsletter lists. It took several attempts, as I would unsub but receive more newsletters at a later date. Eventually through persistence I haven’t received any newslatters, thankfully.
That is until now. Again I have continued to unsub from the list, with the same result as before–I continue to receive unwanted emails. There may in some interesting information in this newsletter, but I’m just not interested in what he has to say or produce anymore.
My advice to anyone thinking of subscribing to any of these lists is to use an RSS feed instead! You have control of that rather than relying on someone else’s.
If you just subscribed before reading this post, welcome to Hotel California where you can “check out” any time you like, but you can never leave!
I would really like my email address removed from any possibility of receiving any of newsletters from this site, now or in future. From previous contact, I believe I would have more luck if I tried to dig my way to China through the center of the Earth or tried to fly to the Sun on wax and feather wings.

Hi Allen,
Sorry to hear about the problems you had. Hopefully this will get cleared up. And I like your idea about a RSS feed, not only for LG, but for any site.
Thanks
