After posting the sample product guide for Vista, I found a download link to the complete Vista product guide on Microsoft’s site. The guide is quite large, 60+ MB, so a broadband connection is highly recommended. The complete guide can be found here. I downloaded the product guide in Word format.
After downloading the guide, I took a look through it. It is very comprehensive and includes just about everything a new user to Vista would need. All of the basics are covered PLUS the advanced features of the new operating systems. This guide is over 299 pages long.
I also noted that the guide was for Vista Beta 2, but appears to have everything one would need for the RTM version as well. So if your looking for a complete guide to getting started with Vista, this one is worth looking at. You can get a jump start using this guide before Vista is released to the public on January 30, 2007.
PLEASE NOTE: This guide is available ONLY in .doc or .xps formats. You may have to get the Sample guide instead which is in .pdf format.
