XML Notepad 2007 - used for editing and browsing XML documents.

SyncToy v1.4 - allows you to rename, move, copy and delete files between PCs.

Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats - open, edit and save documents for 2007 file formats.

Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer - designed for IT professionals, this tool identifies common security misconfiguration.

Word Viewer 2003 - if you don’t have Word installed on your system, you can view Word documents using this viewer.

Excel Viewer 2003 - same as above except for Excel documents.

Make sure to confirm that your operating system is supported before downloading the software. Some software provides support for Vista, as well.
