Microsoft is offering telephone support to its Vista users who are using a copy of Beta 2, RC1 or RC2. Known as the Customer Preview Program (CPP), users will also have access to the Vista newsgroups. So if you are having problems with your beta or release candidate copy of Vista, now is your chance to get support directly from Microsoft. Below is a listing of the phone number and hours of operation that have been posted:
- Phone Number: 866-425-0593
- Hours of Availability:
- Monday – Friday: 5AM-9PM Pacific Time
- Saturday – Sunday: 6AM-3PM Pacific Time
- English only (US & Canada)
- Best-effort troubleshooting in a consumer, non-domain environment
More information can be found here.
Just a guess, but I believe this phone support for the CPP versions may end when the full versions of Vista are released on January 30, 2007.

Hello Eric,
You can read this:
http://support.turbotax.intuit.com/cgi-bin/turbotax.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2112&p_created=1153778240&p_sid=Hxm*gjxi&p_accessibility=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MTYmcF9wcm9kcz0mcF9jYXRzPSZwX3B2PSZwX2N2PSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPWFuc3dlcnMuc2VhcmNoX25sJnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9dmlzdGE*&p_li=&srn=1
It doesn’t appear to support Vista and there doesn’t appear to be a patch.

Hi Bonnie,
I don’t believe it’s going to work on Vista.

I am using Windows Vista Business addition 32 bit and any software that is 32 bit will work. I was surprised when folks told it wouldn’t work and it does. Try the install as administrator and see if it works. The worst that can happen is the security will tell you it’s not 32 bit so it won’t work.
When you start it each time you need to right click and open as administrater.
Hope that helps.
