My Visit Onfield At US Cellular Field

My son and I visited US Cellular Field and got a tour and went on the field during batting practice. It was an incredible experience. We won our onfield access from ESPNZone in downtown Chicago. They supplied our tickets for this game as well (Suite level). It was an amazing visit.

My son is nine years old and a HUGE baseball freak; the Chicago White Sox were already his favorite team, and now they are immortalized as such.

We entered via the front offices and were greeted warmly. Got to see some of the team’s World Series paraphernalia. Then we went backstage and went onto the field via the gate directly behind home plate.

We met a few folks and got a few autographs, including Ozzie Guillen. We watched batting practice and got a photo taken by the team photographer.

This was our first experience as VIPs in a major league baseball park. We liked the experience very much.
