Yesterday, the Wordpress folks released the 3rd and final beta of Wordpress 2.3. I’m actually using it to power this site, and I have to say, it’s pretty cool. This version fixes some bugs, but also adds some of the new features include built in faster javascript, plugin and core update notification, and SEO-friendly URL redirection. However the feature most users will be happy about is built in tag support, and look! There is even a little tag cloud widget built right into 2.3! So, overall this is definitely an upgrade worth installing. Well done Wordpress and all you indie developers who helped, well done.
