I recently asked the question to a few users “How did rick rolling start?” No one had an answer at the time I asked the question.

Ok I just spent about 30 minutes wasting my time finding absolutely nothing about rick rolling. Some people claim it started on the show Family guy. The cartoon that airs on adult swim nightly. You can also watch Family guy on veohtv.

Others claim that it started on 4chan. 4chan is kind of like a forum, every user is anonymous on the website so you don’t really know who started what. In my opinion I don’t know what to believe I would actually like to figure out who started and what the first “rick roll”. That would be pretty interesting.

Either way I think that rick-rolling started way before both of them. But just for fun. If you want to rick-roll your friends from the comfort of your computer chair. You can goto this site here and you type in your friends number as long as it’s a u.s.a. phone number cell phone or land line. It can take anywhere from 1 minute to an hour for the phone call to be processed and sent. It does work though I tried it on my own phone.
