My Month Of Technological Infections

I am many, many things. Writer, Musician, Magician, Student, Son… the list could go on. One think I never knew I was is a technological bad luck charm.
In the past month I have had more pieces of technology either break or only halfway function than I ever thought possible.
First, my Xbox 360’s power supply over heated, shutting down my console. Thank Gates that instead of igniting, the fail safe worked perfectly.
Following this, I experienced my first “Blue Screen of Death” after trying to install a game onto my (vista) laptop. Sure, you may say I was asking for it by using Vista but this was actually the first issue i’ve ever had with the OS.
Shortly there after my 32 gig-expensive-as-life-itself-iTouch (using iPhone 2.2) froze AGAIN… It had frozen not long after 2.0 was released, but that problem had been resolved and had experienced no further issues. Thankfully, it started working once again.
Well, as they say, history repeats itself. Since then, I have gotten a second BSoD AND blown the flash memory on my iTouch…
So yes, this was part rant, part story for you to laugh at (and probably relate to). Regardless, best wishes that my Tech Infection doesn’t spread to you… Perhaps that infection is called Vista… hmm

I’ve experienced and seen things just like the ones you mention. Sorry you had to endure them. I have two people at work who destroy their pc’s on a monthly basis.
There is a class of people that produces a lot of electricity. Sometimes so much that they become their own worst enemy, frying their electronic toys. I have noticed lots of excess electricity in victims of childhood abuse. I hope you’re not in that demographic.
Good luck.
