We had a yard sale on Saturday and the kids decided to play with some golf clubs that my husband was selling. They went over to the side yard and were hitting a tennis ball. I guess that seemed safer than a golf ball. Well, it was my son’s turn to hit the ball, but my daughter decided to run up and hit the ball first. Instead of hitting the ball, she hit him in the leg.

Well, he acted like he was mortally wounded. He couldn’t walk. He needed the ice pack. He needed to be held. He was crying his eyes out until his sister came up and gave him a Hershey’s Kiss. I think this was her idea of restitution. Then his crying stopped and he looked like the cat that ate the canary.

It is amazing that a Kiss can make a boo-boo all better.
