I recently drove down a road out in the country where I lived all my growing up years.  I was reminded of a time about 20 years ago.  I had only had my drivers license for a short time. I was running late for school, as was often the case. I came to a curve in the road where a lot of small rocks from a driveway were on the road.  I put on the brakes and I began to slide.  The car spun aroung and ended up in a field across the street.  I was able to turn the car back onto the road and continue on my way, hoping that no one had seen me.  Several days later my dad went down to the little country store near our house. People (primarily, the farmers) from the surrounding area would hang around there when they were taking a break from their work.  When he came home he asked me about the little spin out in the field.  I told him what happened and asked how he knew about it.  He said that the lady across the street from the field had been babysitting that day and the boy she was watching wanted to know “Who was doing ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ in the field.  Apparently I had been seen and the little boy was impressed by my great driving ability.

So you never know who is watching, sometimes “Big Brother” and sometimes “little brother”.
