We all need computer protection. No one wants to have malicious programs on their computer system walking around like they’re the owners. Some persons spend months searching for good protection for there computer, there are so many programs out there it is hard to choose sometimes. 

I was going around searching for good protection myself but right now I have settled with some good program which I think does a pretty good job at what they’re suppose to. Here are some good freewares that are just as good as some commercial softwares. Sorry but I couldn’t find any free security suite [anti-virus, anti-spyware and firewall combined].  These are what I use and they are very good.  

Zone Alarm free firewall – With this firewall you can’t go wrong. It blocks access from both sides of the fence. It prevents intrusion and extrusion. No program on your machine can access the internet without your permission and nothing can access your computer either. Avira AntiVir Personal Edition Classic – This is a good anti-virus, it protects against viruses, worms and Trojans. You can upgrade to the premium version for more features. http://www.free-av.com 

Ad-Aware 2007 – This software is really good anti-adware, it scans everywhere on your system, RAM, Registry, hard drives and external storage devices. It gives your system a complete sweep.  http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php
