I really have been thinking about buying a Mac.But it’s really hard for me beeing a PC user all my life.I’ve heard the Mac Mini is great for users making a transition from PC to Mac so I thought I’d give it a try.Browsing the Apple store, I saw the 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 160 gig hard drive.

But(and yes, there is a but) i have to buy a new display, keyboard, speakers etc.So why dont I have a look at the MacBook.If I draw the line, i would end up  at the Mini’s price

So there it is.I’ve made up my mind.The base line product has pretty good stats for what I’m looking to do with my Mac, it’s portable, takes less space and all the advantages a laptop can bring.

Now we come to the “budget” side of the story.I live in Romania, and we only have 1 official Mac Store and the local price here is 38.000 RON (about 1600 USD Dollars), and on the UK store, the price is about 1100 US Dollars.500 bucks is a huge gap i really can’t aford at the present moment.

OSX 10.5 really looks promising too
I’m awating your sugestions on a nearby store,or on new Mac’s i should consider buying
