Silda Spitzer: Living Every Woman’s Nightmare

Women watched in horror years ago as Hillary stood beside Bill as he spouted his “apology” to the US citizens. Now we must again stand by as Silda Spitzer appeared to support her husband, New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, as he apologized for his affair.
Why is it in the world of politics, women “MUST” stand beside their man? Why do they “have” to show their support, love, and forgiveness… all in the name of the party? It’s ludicrous. I’ve been there, done that… gotten the tshirt. I don’t care if my husband were the King of the World… he’d be talking to me through my lawyer. I know, some may be thinking “it’s easy for you to say… try being in her shoes.” That’s my point. I don’t care who she “is” in the world of business and politics. She is a woman first, a wife and mother second, and someone in the world of politics third. Were I… or many other women… in her shoes, I’d be out the door. Better yet, HE would be out the door. There is no political office so important that a woman should sacrifice herself, her beliefs and her integrity on its behalf.

Right on! And Hillary should have done likewise. And BTW where was spitzer’s apology? Not once in that “speech” he gave did he utter the words ‘I’m sorry’ or ‘I apologize’. Typical of narcissistic, sociopathic imbeciles such as he. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Well, I would have to say that we do not know what her beliefs are nor do we know if she thinks that she is sacrificing herself.
Its hard to know what goes through the mind of another person.
And maybe, just maybe, she had no integrity to start with.
Although I concur with your thoughts Kat, I would tend to think that Silda has another agenda to consider. Does that make her wrong? You bet!
