Will the news of the new iphone bring twitter to its knees? Survey says….probably. They say you learn from history, but history also repeats itself. Something that the twitter team should be taking into consideration. Word over at TechCrunch is that they are prepared for the massive twitter usage that will occur tomorrow surrounding the news to come from Steve Jobs. With the advent of services like Plurk, and other services such as: Jaiku and Pownce, Twitter must know that their users are jumping ship or are considering doing so to have a stable microblogging platform. When you consider the number of times Twitter has crashed or undergone surgery this year, the previous statement is not far fetched. You can guarantee that Twitter will be surging with tweets, replies, and DM’s tomorrow, we’ll see if she can withstand the load. I’ll be tweeting it up like a madman tomorrow - you can follow me @4four1ones. See ya there. My bet is that she crumbles like a cookie…@scobleizer take it easy on her, she’s barely glued together. Hopefully, Twitter will prove me and others wrong. This would be the time to show the Twitter fanbase that she can withstand heavy loads of chatter.

- Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts, Shipley’s are to name but a few of the famous donut chains in America. Did you know that the first Friday of June is National Donut Day? Well, don’t feel bad, neither did I, until my wife jumped on the bed with my 2 year old to let me know about it. Mrs. 4four1ones is a school teacher and came across this interesting fact on her district CE schedule. Oh, how exciting….sigh. Well, being a good father, I got out of bed and loaded my family into the car to take them to our local donut shop - Citi Donut, to celebrate. Unfortunately, the donuts sucked. I’m a Dunkin man and it’s sad that we do not have one nearby, but I managed to get my crusty, over-greased sweet treats down.

Ever heard of Metallica? Sure you have! You know, one of the best selling artists of all time. Over 100 million records sold! You know those famous songs, “One”, “Unforgiven”, “Master of Puppets”, and “Fade to Black”. After the St. Anger fizzle, the boys are returning with fury! They have even leaked some sample sounds on their new website http://www.missionmetallica.com If you are a metallica fan, you owe it to yourself to check it out. I have to say that I am pleased with what little amount of riffage I heard. I hope that they are fueled by the anticipation of their loyal fans to produce a hit album, like they used to make, before they tried to re-invent themselves. True Metallica fans want their old band back. The band that made speaker shattering music. The band that created riffs that rattled your spinal cord and solos via Kirk Hammet that could melt your brain. Want to know why Metallica is the most requested band for songs on Guitar Hero? Because they are, by definition, ROCK! Can the boys do it? Can they return to the Sanitarium days or will the final bell toll for Metallica? I guess we will see. I’ll be front row.

Thank goodness! With this new invention by T&L Perfect USA, I can sit in my chair at work and burn those calories from lunch. This means that I never have to go outside and exercise - you know, like walking around the block or riding my bike. This is the best thing ever. Watch the video below to see what I mean. The Hawaii Chair just might be the answer to your weight problems. Forget about a healthy diet and getting outdoors when you can sit in a chair! I love when they say you can file papers and the lady almost drops her files and the other lady at the computer can hardly type…LOL!

Finally, I can drive underwater! Now I can begin my missions as a secret agent for some obscure, government-funded institution. Do you think I can use this as a tax writeoff? How far off are we from flying cars?

Many of you might be wondering why they would make a convertible underwater car. The reason is the pressure exerted on the vehicle underwater would be too great, and would cause the windows to burst. When underwater, the sQuba can dive to depths of 33 feet. This car is also able to drive itself with the push of a button (guided by proprietary technologies).

Oh, and you will need deep pockets to purchase this car. Its MSRP is 1.5 million and they are not planning on putting these into production. Guess you better be an A-list celeb or athlete to get your hands on this collectible/novelty. Rinspeed will present its new sQuba, the world’s first diving car, at the Geneva Motor Show (March 6-16).

Well, one of my most favorite movie franchises is set to hit the silver screen with the 4th installment on May 22nd - Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull. This movie stars Harrison Ford (of course), Shia LaBeouf and Cate Blanchett. I simply can not wait to go and see this! Ok, so I am geeking out a little bit, but we are talking about Indiana Jones here!

I bet now you want to go and see it! Hoooorah Lucasfilm - Thank you for bringing back one of the best movie franchises! I feel like a kid again, and that is worth something. Now, where did I put my damn Indy hat and bullwhip?

Time Warner has a plan in store for those folks who download more than the defined number of gigabytes allotted to them, as denoted in its NEW rate plans, which are currently being tested in Beaumont, TX. Residents of Beaumont, who may have purchased a shiny new Apple TV, could see that an HD movie download could cost as much as 30.00 per movie. Not quite the price point Steve Jobs pitched at Macworld, is it? This is just another attempt on behalf of the cable companies to try and force new technologies out of their space. We all know of the Comcast problems, and now Time Warner is jumping aboard the “Hate-Train” to try and cause as much pain and suffering as possible for the subscribers/third party companies. The cable companies should learn to play nice and embrace new technologies - didn’t they learn that in preschool? I guess not. Time Warner, like other cable companies, is just scared that people are moving away from cable and are watching their programs over the Internet. Doesn’t seem like the smart thing to do would be to piss off your customers by activating bandwidth restrictions/penalties. Time Warner wants its subscribers to order movies through it and nobody else. Can you smell the jealousy and hate?

While the numbers of the plan are not available for review, it is assumed that it will follow what other cable companies like Bell Canada have done - charging as much as $7.50 per gigabyte downloaded outside of the allotted amount/plan.

Here is how the numbers work:

A typical HD download from Apple TV = 4 to 5 gigabytes
Let’s say additional gigs of download = $7.50 per gig
Apple TV movie download = $30.00+

BOOOOO on cable companies! Shame on you, Time Warner!

This is absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a video that will put you on the edge of your seat, then you have to watch this one. Go USA! After a mid-air collision, during training exercises, an Israeli pilot landed with just one wing. Talk about technology….w00t. Now why is it that we can build aircraft like this but we can’t build cars that last? Hunh?

While surfing over at YouTube, I ran into some rather humorous videos of accidents that happened within these cable “Home Shopping Network” type shows. It really annoys me when these television sales people try to make people believe that life is not possible without these products they are selling. Take a minute to view these videos I have compiled and get ready to laugh at these ridiculous people. Perhaps they believe a little too much in the junk they are trying to peddle to the public. Gosh, they are so corny!
