Will the news of the new iphone bring twitter to its knees? Survey says….probably. They say you learn from history, but history also repeats itself. Something that the twitter team should be taking into consideration. Word over at TechCrunch is that they are prepared for the massive twitter usage that will occur tomorrow surrounding the news to come from Steve Jobs. With the advent of services like Plurk, and other services such as: Jaiku and Pownce, Twitter must know that their users are jumping ship or are considering doing so to have a stable microblogging platform. When you consider the number of times Twitter has crashed or undergone surgery this year, the previous statement is not far fetched. You can guarantee that Twitter will be surging with tweets, replies, and DM’s tomorrow, we’ll see if she can withstand the load.
